Our Classes at a Glance
Mommy & Me
This class is for children 18 months-3 years of age who want an introduction to dance in a fun, creative environment while still having the comforts of having a parent in class. Both Moms and Dads are welcome into class and help introduce dance to your little ones. Students will learn the very basics of dance and gross motor movements with fun, cognitive dance games. Mommy and Me classes are 30 minutes in length.
Dance N Play
For children 3-4 years of age who want to experience and learn the basics of dance while still having a fun outlet for their creative energy. Students will learn the beginning teachings of dance with fun, cognitive dance games. Dance N Play classes are 30 minutes in length.
Pre-Dance
An introduction to Ballet, Jazz, and Tap for ages 5-6.  Each week is a different focus alternating between the three different styles of dance. Students learn more comprehensive lessons of dance with the focus remaining on fun. Pre-Dance classes are 45 minutes in length.
Tap/Jazz
A combination class of Tap and Jazz for age 7.  This class focuses on the basic techniques of Tap and Jazz in preparation for beginning level classes. Tap/Jazz classes are 45 minutes in length.
Ballet/Lyrical
A combination class of Ballet and Lyrical for age 7.  This class focuses on the basic techniques of Ballet and Lyrical in preparation for beginning level classes. Ballet/Lyrical classes are 45 minutes in length.
Jazz/Hip-Hop

Jazz teaches rhythms and specific body isolations taught through various styles and techniques. Jazz gets its roots from ancient African tribal rhythms, and therefore lends itself to be rooted in the rhythms of the music it is danced to. Hip-Hop combines Jazz, Modern and personal expression. Break Dancing and Pop-N-Lock are a few of the styles taught. While Hip-Hop is one of the most popular dances today, it began during the 1920s and was forced underground where dancers cultivated the techniques learned today. Jazz/Hip-Hop classes are 1 hour in length.

Tap
Through Tap rhythms, students learn how to accent and count different styles of music by making sounds with their feet. Teaching the Standard Technique, students will learn music theory, and how to manipulate the ankle and foot to create different sounds. Tap classes are 1 hour in length.  
Modern/Lyrical
Modern/Lyrical focuses on the natural rhythms of the body and expression of music through movement. Modern dance was born at the beginning of the twentieth century, and is the most influencing style of dance today. Techniques taught are a combination of Graham, Limon, Hawkins, and today's influences. Modern/Lyrical classes are 1 hour in length.
Ballet
Ballet lays a great foundation for dance. With a mixture of Russian and Italian techniques, students learn the discipline and strength needed for further dance study. Ballet classes are 1 hour in length.
Tumbling
Tumbling is for those ages 8+ who have a basic knowledge of inverted positions as they relate to dance. This class will build strength and flexibility and teaches dance related tumbling skills. Tumbling Basic classes are 30 minutes in length.
Technique
A requirement for those in intermediate, advanced or Company classes.  Technique classes focus solely on the specific skills and elements of dance and teaches the correct methods of how the different skills should be executed. Technique classes are 1 hour in length.
Hula
Come to appreciate the many benefits of hula. It strengthens and tones the whole body, improving flexibility and balance. As your feet perform the steps, your hands tell the story. Hula not only works the body, but engages the mind as well. Gentle movements provide for beautiful meditation in motion. The students will also learn some Hawaiian language. Hula classes are 1 hour in length and are for those ages 6-Adult.
Company

Company classes are by invitation only and focus on choreography and performance.

Adult Dance & Stretch
This is the perfect class for any adult who wants to experience the conditioning benefits of dance in an adults only environment. Students will perform basic dance strengthening movements as well as basic dance stretches to tone and sculpt the body. Adult Dance & Stretch classes are 1 hour in length.
